DESIGNER EDITOR

Location: Lusaka
We are looking for a brilliant, driven and self-motivated Video Editor to join a dynamic production team.
The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, quick to learn, able to work under pressure, and passionate about visual storytelling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle end-to-end video editing, including cuts, pacing and multi-camera synchronization.
• Review footage frame-by-frame to ensure high-quality visuals, audio, colour and graphics.
• Interpret scripts and creative briefs and transform them into engaging visual stories.
• Support or operate live multi-camera production and switching setups using ATEM, vMix or OBS.
• Perform colour correction, skin-tone balancing and creative colour grading.
• Create and integrate lower thirds, title cards, typography, animations and graphic overlays.
• Clean, balance and mix dialogue, music and sound effects to achieve broadcast-quality audio.
• Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Stay updated with new editing technologies, software and AI-powered post-production tools.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve
Colour Grading: DaVinci Resolve Color Page
Audio: Fairlight, Adobe Audition
Motion Graphics: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro
Live Production: OBS, vMix, ATEM
Other: Strong computer skills, file organisation, codec handling and quality-control processes.

✔ Proven portfolio/showreel demonstrating strong visual storytelling, clean editing, colour grading and audio polishing
✔ Practical experience in post-production or media production
✔ Exceptional attention to detail
✔ Strong creative and innovative thinking
✔ Ability to work independently and learn quickly
✔ Understanding of cross-platform/software workflows
✔ Ability to remain focused and adaptable under pressure
No formal degree is required. Skills, practical ability, work ethic, portfolio and passion for visual storytelling are the priority.
