Position: Upholsterer
Kasempa Kreations — Custom Hardwood Furniture Manufacturers, Ndola

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the upholstery of custom-manufactured furniture items, including seating, headboards, and other bespoke pieces crafted primarily from Mukwa and Kiaat hardwood, ensuring all work meets the company’s quality and finishing standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Measure, cut, and fit upholstery fabric and leather to furniture frames.
* Carry out hand and machine stitching to a professional standard.
* Work with foam, springs, webbing, and padding materials.
* Interpret client specifications and custom design requirements accurately.
* Ensure a high standard of finish, symmetry, and durability in all completed work.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet order deadlines.

Requirements

* Demonstrable experience in furniture upholstery (fabric and leather).
* Sound knowledge of upholstery tools, materials, and techniques.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
* Reliability and strong work ethic.
