<p>Investrust Bank Plc (IBP) is looking for suitably qualified, vibrant and self-motivated individual to fill the position that has fallen vacant below.<br />Position Title 1<br />:&nbsp;<br />Human Resources Officer &ndash; Resourcing and Development<br />Grade<br />:<br />IBP4<br />Department<br />:&nbsp;<br />Human Resource and Administration<br />Location<br />:&nbsp;<br />Head Office<br />Reports to : Human Resource Manager &ndash; Resourcing and Development<br /><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br />To undertake staff recruitment and training and development activities to ensure that the&nbsp;<br />Bank is adequately resourced with skilled and competent personnel capable of executing&nbsp;<br />their responsibilities to the satisfaction of the Institution.<br />Key Responsibilities&nbsp;<br />1. Support Human Resources Manager, Resourcing and Development (HRMR&amp;D) in&nbsp;<br />development and implementation of Human Resources policies including those&nbsp;<br />related to recruitment, selection, resourcing, training and development.<br />2. Conducts skills audit in the organization in order to determine the training needs of&nbsp;<br />staff.<br />3. Searches for and selects suitable training providers to deliver the training to the expectation and satisfaction of the organization.<br />4. Evaluates the training programs vis-&agrave;-vis the institution&rsquo;s requirements and initiates remedial action to address the training gaps if any.<br />5. Carries out recruitment, selection and placement of staff to fill the vacancies in conjunction with Heads of Department.</p>
<p>6. Undertakes orientation of new employees so as to appraise them with their&nbsp;<br />conditions of service, Bank policies, job duties, business etiquettes etc.<br />7. Maintains a database for Human Resource to facilitate the generation of labour returns and other adhoc reports.<br />8. Participates in the administration of performance appraisals system which helps to identify training needs and promotion potential of staff.<br />9. Monitoring the expiry of probationary period for new entrants and ensure that Division/ Departmental Heads are notified in time.<br />10. Participating in preparation of Training and Development budget.<br />11. Assist in coordinating the hiring process, including advertising, screening, shortlisting, contacting candidates, conducting interview as well as maintaining a database of candidates.<br />12. Assisting in developing strategic plans for provision of training and development of staff in line with organization business objectives.<br />13. Support (HRMR&amp;D) in providing guidance and advice for staff development and career paths including opportunities for professional development and training.&nbsp;<br />14. Assist in planning and facilitating orientation, induction or on-boarding programs for new staff.<br />15. Conducts Human Resource (manpower) Audit to determine the human resources requirement of the Bank and Submitting Human Resources Monthly, Quarterly and Annually Reports.&nbsp;</p>
